Yes, school is out but we went on another field trip. A friend of mine at church had a great idea to plan outings with the kids this summer and we had our first one on Monday. We went to Buffalo Gap Historic Village and it was a lot of fun. A nice hot day, of course, but the kids enjoyed seeing all the old-time stuff and got to rope animals, play on an old-time merry-go-round, and do a scavenger hunt for items in most of the buildings we toured. Here are some cute pics of our day.
